About the position

The Hydrogen Account Manager at Honda will oversee and execute projects focused on integrating fuel cell technologies into various applications, including vehicles and stationary power systems. This role is pivotal in driving the mass commercialization of hydrogen solutions, supporting Honda's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality and sustainable energy solutions. The position involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project success and alignment with Honda's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hydrogen/fuel cell projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with Honda's goals.
  • Build robust relationships with stakeholders and serve as the main contact for project queries.
  • Collaborate with Engineering for fuel cell integration in power systems and monitor hydrogen tech trends.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities for approvals and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Continuously evaluate project processes and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Sustainability, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and post-project evaluations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and project management tools.
  • Solid understanding of risk management, financial oversight, and budget tracking for large-scale projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
  • Technical orientation and understanding of hydrogen fuel cells and energy systems.
  • Certification such as PMP, Prince2, or APM is preferred.
