About the position

The Hybrid Driver position at FleetGenius, LLC involves operating a 16ft box truck to transport containers while ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the yard/site. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and local laws, as well as effective use of technology for routing and inventory management. The position offers opportunities for advancement in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle in accordance with the company's rules and safety protocol as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR).
• Complete and submit customer tickets as required.
• Follow route assignments as directed and complete end of day documentation, including picture taking and notes.
• Pressure wash waste/recycling containers (90%) and perform repairs, sorting, and inspecting (10%).
• Manage inventory of waste/recycling containers, including data entry.
• Adapt to routing technology and function on a smartphone device.

Requirements

• Valid driver license
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds or more
• Ability to push or pull up to 450 pounds on wheels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Nice-to-haves

• Operating forklifts is a plus, but not required
