About the position
Ontario Refrigeration Service, Inc. is seeking career-minded Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join our growing team as the West's premier provider of HVAC/R commercial services and installations. This role involves performing inspections and repairs on various HVAC systems while adhering to safety policies and procedures, contributing to a people-first culture and high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and perform repairs on package units, split systems, air handlers, WSHPs, VFDs, boilers, fan coils, and cooling towers
- Replace compressors and motors
- Access and navigate building automation control systems through front-end computer terminals
- Navigate, clear alarms, reset, and adjust parameters on VFDs
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field
- Certified EPA Type II or Universal (preferred)
- Strong work ethic with a desire to gain industry knowledge
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and mechanical aptitude skills
- Valid driver's license
