HVAC Service Technician

About the position

Powder River Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our team. We provide premium maintenance, installation, and repair service of heating and cooling systems and plumbing services for both residential homeowners, commercial properties, and industrial settings in Gillette, Buffalo, and Sheridan, WY. Since 1979, we have proudly served our local communities. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will service a wide variety of HVAC equipment and controls, with company paid training and dealer training to promote professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Providing maintenance, repair and service on commercial, residential, and industrial heating and air conditioning systems
• Delivering excellent customer service

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Universal EPA Certification
• 2+ years of HVAC service experience
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• Advanced customer service skills
• Acquire NATE certifications within one year of employment
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Able to operate a mobile processing system
• Possess tools needed
• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School desired
