About the position

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a dynamic and motivated HVAC Service Manager to supervise staff who install, repair, and maintain commercial heating and air conditioning systems. The HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for planning, forecasting, managing, and delivering consistent long-term profitable growth. This role involves developing and delivering estimates and proposals to customers while establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships. The manager will also oversee employee training, budget development, and strategic discussions with other company managers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff who install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Plan, forecast, manage, and deliver consistent long-term profitable growth.
• Develop and deliver estimates and proposals to customers.
• Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Manage employees and train staff on testing electrical circuits and HVAC systems.
• Develop budgets and set company goals.
• Interview prospective employees and meet with other managers to discuss strategies.
• Schedule appointments and dispatch service technicians.
• Provide service calls as necessary.
• Ensure good customer service and communication skills among staff.
• Practice performance management by setting clear goals and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and strategic initiatives.
• Increase market penetration by securing new customers and expanding existing customer base.
• Develop strategies consistent with Building Efficiency models and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and operate with high business ethics.
• Provide timely and accurate information to the Service Team.

Requirements

• Five years of proven successful HVAC sales and/or service management experience (preferably in commercial HVAC).
• Practical experience in the mechanical industry.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with both commercial and industrial processes.
• Prior military service.
