HVAC Commercial Installer

About the position

Powder River Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring HVAC Commercial Installers to provide premium maintenance, installation, and repair service of heating and cooling systems and plumbing services for both residential homeowners, commercial properties, and industrial settings in Gillette, Buffalo, and Sheridan, WY. We are a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer and provide company paid training, including dealer training to facilitate and promote professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
• Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high-quality and time job performance.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• 2+ years HVAC commercial install experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication, and installation
• Proficient at residential and commercial installations
• Advanced safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
• Basic fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittings
• Size and draw duct work correctly
• Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units, heat pumps, VRV's, and condensing units
• Good understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Ability to train entry level personnel
