Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment of employee salaries.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll and benefits-related regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate the hiring process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Work with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Conduct interviews and manage the candidate selection process.
  • Ensure the company is in compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment law and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.
  • SHRM-CP certification is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Compensation experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
