Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer HR plans and procedures for all personnel.
  • Manage recruitment efforts, training, employee relations, and outplacement counseling.
  • Maintain required records, reports, and logs to comply with regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals.
  • Participate in developing HR goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for HR operations.
  • Support line managers in talent pipeline planning.
  • Assist business unit leaders in identifying and developing organizational capabilities.
  • Develop feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement of HR services.
  • Provide HR advice and coaching to employees and managers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety processes and protocols.
  • Develop job descriptions and manage the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and onboarding.
  • Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts.
  • Manage disciplinary processes and terminations.
  • Ensure policies align with labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Assess training needs and develop or coordinate programs.
  • Promote leadership development and employee career growth.
  • Collaborate on salary structures, bonuses, and benefits packages.
  • Monitor market trends to keep offerings competitive.
  • Handle payroll issues and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Experience working with companies with 100+ employees
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Strong employee relations skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Recruitment and onboarding experience
  • Experience in offboarding and terminations
  • Knowledge of benefits administration
  • Experience managing leave of absences

Nice-to-haves

  • HR Certifications such as SHRM, PHR, or SPHR
