Our technologies are applied to units where coal, natural gas, heavy oil, biomass, municipal waste, and other fuels are utilized. With more than 20 years of experience and over 1,000 APC system installations worldwide, we engineer custom-designed systems to meet our customers' specific requirements. Performs professional level human resources responsibilities and carries out the administration and coordination of programs and functions such as staffing, human resources information systems, report writing and recordkeeping, benefits, compensation, and training. Serves as the first point of contact for general employee inquiries and routes more complex or critical issues to the appropriate Human Resources staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate benefit changes and COBRA administration with benefits broker.
  • Assist with annual compliance reporting, coordinate open enrollment process, administer employee awards, and coordinate leave of absence programs.
  • Prepare and/or update job descriptions and assist with annual planning for merit, pay adjustments, etc.
  • Manage HRIS database and personnel changes.
  • Run established reports and develop ad-hoc reports from HRIS.
  • Monitor and audit employee information stored in HRIS.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting including screening candidates via Video conference.
  • Coordinate on-site interviews and manage the New Hire and on-boarding process.
  • Document HR related workflows and procedures, maintain organization charts.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries, administer invoices, respond to payroll inquiries.
  • Assist in reporting and maintain HR files.
  • Schedule and track training activities.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic office practices.
  • HRIS - ADP Workforce Now systems required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Human Resources functions and processes (Compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent sourcing and training and development).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Capable of properly maintaining an HRIS system.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrates a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years of related Human Resources experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Exemplifies the core values of the Company.
