About the position

The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing onboarding processes and supporting employee engagement initiatives within the Human Resources team. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and effective coordination of HR processes, including scheduling training sessions, tracking onboarding paperwork, and facilitating employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule POET (Pre-Employment Orientation Training) sessions for new hires.
  • Ensure all necessary materials and resources are prepared for each session.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to align training schedules with departmental needs.
  • Track the status of background checks and follow up on pending onboarding paperwork.
  • Provide clear instructions and support to ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Monitor and follow up on the completion of onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist new hires in understanding benefits enrollment and other administrative tasks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process by coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Ensure new employees receive an engaging introduction to the company culture, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide a comprehensive onboarding experience.
  • Administer HRIS (Human Resource Information System) data entry and maintenance.
  • Serve as a liaison for employee benefits inquiries and support.
  • Assist in the coordination of ERG activities and initiatives.
  • Promote ERG participation among employees and facilitate communication.
  • Coordinate exit interviews for departing employees, gathering valuable feedback.
  • Ensure all termination paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding general HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and follow-up to address employee concerns, fostering a supportive workplace environment.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives by assisting in planning and executing events.
  • Gather feedback from employees to enhance engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or experience in a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar entry-level HR role is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel, managing email, Canva, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills.
