About the position

Atlas Energy Solutions, headquartered in Austin, TX, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our manufacturing and logistics operations. This role is crucial for the success of our business, as the HRBP will work closely with business managers and manage the Associate Life Cycle while implementing Human Resources initiatives. The HRBP will actively coach and counsel leaders, provide HR partnership regarding business planning and performance management, and develop talent strategies aligned with the company's vision. Additionally, the HRBP will oversee all HR programs at our logistics site, assist in policy development, and serve as a resource for employee relations and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Actively coach, counsel and support business function leaders to advise and influence strategies and identify gaps and opportunities that impact business results
  • Provide HR partnership to leaders regarding business planning, performance management, communications, learning and development, workforce design and implementation and change management
  • Develop short and long-term talent strategies in alignment with the vision and objectives of the business
  • Implement and manage all Human Resources programs and initiatives at our logistics site
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel procedures and policies
  • Site resource for benefit administration, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation and employment law compliance
  • Responsible for Associate Life Cycle, including recruitment, interview participation, onboarding, new hire orientation, counseling, corrective action, investigations, performance management, Workers Compensation and offboarding
  • Provide coaching and conflict resolution to leaders on employee relations, culture and escalating issues as necessary to minimize risk to Atlas Energy Solutions
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees and management seeking answers and advice on benefits, FMLA, workers' comp, disability, etc.
  • Data management that includes: employee data, employee files, I9 documents, personal data, emergency contacts, compensation, attendance, performance data and termination information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent combination of education, experience and training
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of Human Resources experience required
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal law and regulations
  • Knowledge of federal DOT laws and DQ files
  • Ability to deliver best in class customer service
