About the position

The HR Business Partner at Foamcraft plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and engaging workplace. This position involves building relationships across the organization, providing hands-on support to employees, and ensuring a positive work environment. The HR Business Partner will work closely with plant leaders to address employee needs, assist in hiring and onboarding, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for local employee needs, providing guidance and support on performance coaching and career development.
  • Support the hiring process and create a welcoming onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processes, addressing employee inquiries as needed.
  • Assist employees in understanding and enrolling in benefits, and support them through leave processes.
  • Lead safety initiatives and support training efforts to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Organize plant-level activities to enhance employee engagement and foster a sense of belonging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of strategic HR experience, particularly in employee relations and business unit support.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulatory standards.
