About the position

The Human Resources Analyst position at Corebridge Financial is designed for individuals looking to launch or accelerate their careers in the insurance industry. This role is part of the 2025 Corebridge Full-time Analyst Program, which offers a comprehensive training and development platform, including rotations through various teams, mentoring, and exposure to senior leaders. The position focuses on providing analytical support, improving financial management systems, and contributing to process improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Providing key reporting and analytics support, reviewing business performance, driving planning and forecasting efforts, and building operating budgets.
  • Performing controllership activities that deliver required Corebridge consolidated financial reporting, providing tax advisory, planning, accounting, compliance, and analytics for a variety of tax and financial issues.
  • Improving financial management systems and information, contributing to process improvement or savings initiatives, and participating in finance projects.
  • Developing and updating reports on capital, forecast, cash flows, funding and liquidity, reviewing business metrics and performing competitive intelligence.

Requirements

  • Desire to learn about and engage with various roles and responsibilities of a life and retirement insurance company.
  • Minimum 3.2 grade point average (unofficial transcript required upon application).
  • Candidate for bachelor's degree to be received no later than June 2025.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week; 2-3 days in the office per week.

Nice-to-haves

  • One or more years of internship experience.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Overall understanding of fundamental finance and possess accounting acumen.
  • Organized, resourceful and capable of working with ambiguity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Committed to learning new skills and open to work within different business and subject areas.
