Assists with the coordination and implementation of programs and policies of a functional area of human resources. Assists with training programs related to assigned functional area of human resources. Assists with the completion of daily operational activities for assigned functional area of human resources. Assists with ensuring established policies and procedures are followed in accordance with assigned functional human resources area, including standards, guidelines, and protocols at County, State, and federal levels. Responds to inquiries and requests related to assigned functional area. Operates as a human resource generalist administering all aspects of human resource programs. Maintains records and inputs data into systems to control/track work and supports the analysis and decision-making process. Performs other duties as needed, including those performed by subordinate fiscal, financial, and/or clerical staff. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS An Associate degree in Human Resource Management (Administration), Business Management, Public Administration, or a Social or Behavioral Science and three (3) years of office/clerical support experience preferably in a human resources department/function or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted. Please note that although a degree is preferred for this position, equivalent direct experience is also acceptable.
