About the position
The HSE Consultant position at Acadian SMS involves providing technical guidance and leadership in ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Provide overall administration and technical guidance in compliance with safety regulations.
- Interpret and implement regulatory requirements regarding safety.
- Develop and implement Health, Safety & Security policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
- Plan, write, and deliver safety training programs to ensure proficiency in safe practices.
Requirements
- College degree in a related field or 5-10 years of experience in the HSE field.
- Broad experience in health & safety in an offshore marine environment.
- Proven record of implementing policies and procedures that reduce safety incidents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Presentation skills are required.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan and manage work efficiently under stress/time pressures.
