About the position

The HRIS Analyst at SSR Mining Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Workday HRIS system. This position requires a deep understanding of Workday functionalities and HR processes to ensure optimal application performance and alignment with business needs. The analyst will be responsible for configuring various Workday modules, leading enhancement requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with auditing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent and Performance, Reporting, and Security.
  • Lead efforts for Workday enhancement requests, including requirement gathering, designing solutions, testing, training end users, and creating documentation.
  • Design comprehensive end-to-end solutions that align with overall HR and organizational strategies and priorities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and integration-related issues.
  • Partner with HR functional users and other internal teams to design and develop insightful reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
  • Perform additional Workday administrative functions including data loads and transactional support as needed.
  • Oversee Workday feature releases by reviewing release notes, managing regression testing, and effectively communicating updates and changes.
  • Work with Internal Audit and HR Operations teams to ensure SOX compliance.
  • Develop and implement auditing processes to maintain data integrity and system accuracy.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate and notify affected users of issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years Workday configuration experience in at least two of the following modules: Advanced Compensation, Advanced Reporting, Benefits, HCM, Recruiting, or Talent and Performance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to a global workforce.
  • Ability to build and cultivate strong partnerships and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate at all levels within an organization.
  • Problem-solver adept at distinguishing between systemic issues and end-user concerns.
  • A high degree of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality is essential.
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 with solid MS Excel skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building complex calculated fields and condition rules for utilization in business processes.
  • Full cycle implementation of any Workday module.
  • Experience building and troubleshooting integrations and EIBs.
  • Workday Pro Certifications and SHRM accreditation.
