About the position

Join our Human Resources team as an HR Technician II and play a key role in supporting a wide range of HR functions. Your responsibilities will include pre-employment, HRIS data entry, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration and providing excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for HR functions such as conducting and reviewing pre-employment assessments, monitoring onboarding tasks, and ensuring data accuracy in our HRIS systems.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers, providing information and assistance regarding HR processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Analyze and compile HR-related reports for decision-making and compliance purposes.
  • Revise and maintain policy and procedure manuals, as well as desk manuals, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide administrative support for higher-level HR projects.
  • Assist with special projects, audits, and reporting as needed.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of full-time experience in human resources, customer service, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Possess a PHR, SPHR, or other specialized human resources training.
  • Experience with NeoGov.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HR.
  • Experience with Origami Risk.
  • Experience working in a government setting.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
