About the position

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a talented and energetic HR Manager, Learning & Development to be based out of our Austin, TX office. This individual will be responsible for driving learning-based initiatives and adopting a data-informed and ROI-based approach to learning. The HR Manager will enable the organization to adopt a performance consulting-based approach to any learning initiative, ensuring that the HR team is helping to solve business problems. Additionally, this role will ensure that HR teams leverage Global Dover Learning Best Practices across all functions of North America.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the onboarding experience for production and non-production employees.
  • Lead action planning on Engagement Survey across NAM based on commitments.
  • Drive strategies to enhance functional competencies and identify gaps for career growth opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership around talent processes and talent review processes.
  • Drive learning for production-based employees through skill station management and enhancement.
  • Enable Internal Career Opportunities through the adoption of My Career Platform.
  • Manage the learning platform, Growth Academy, for online and classroom-based learning.
  • Support initiatives related to the newsletter.
  • Provide insights from learning data and manage the LMS.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive decision-making for business support.
  • Build effective HR tools for various stages of Employee onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 6 years of Human Resources experience with a focus on Learning & Development in a Technology driven work environment.
  • Understanding of global learning management platforms.
  • Understanding of content development with insights on Instructional Design.
  • Data driven approach to informing talent decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree and relevant work experience within the talent space highly preferred.
  • Affiliations with ASTD or ISPI, or other relevant credentials.
