About the position

We are seeking a seasonal Human Resources & Housing Coordinator to join our team at Adventures on the Gorge. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will support managers and employees throughout the organization while assisting in identifying best practices. You will play a key role training managers to accurately apply human resource policies and programs. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating housing, planning engaging activities, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates diversity and fosters a strong sense of community. This exciting seasonal role is available starting in early March 2025 through the end of October 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and advise innovative employee motivation and morale programs.
  • Ability to listen to employee concerns and have outstanding analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible for day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Responsible for coordinating housing, planning engaging activities, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates diversity and fosters a strong sense of community.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of events and activities.
  • Ensure rooms are move-in ready and photo documented prior to arrivals, manage the allocation of housing assignments, and coordinate move-in and move-out processes.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.
  • Follow ARAMARK policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • May be required to work nights or weekends.
  • Ability to arrive at work on time and dressed in uniform.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in office setting and administrative functions, experience in HR preferred, ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to create, plan and manage creative HR strategies.
  • Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies.
  • Use of Computer, Telephone, Copier, Scanner, Label Maker, Shredder required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Customer service oriented with a positive and approachable demeanor.
