About The Position

Samaritans on Cape Cod and the Islands is seeking a Part-Time Human Resources Generalist to lead the organization’s day-to-day HR operations while helping advance its important work dedicated to suicide prevention and crisis support. This role serves as a key operational support for the organization’s HR functions, partnering closely with the Executive Director and external vendors to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations while supporting a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate enjoys balancing detail-oriented administrative work with employee interaction and organizational support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or a minimum of three years of human resources administrative or generalist experience required.
• Massachusetts residency required; Cape Cod area or reasonable commuting distance preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience supporting payroll, onboarding, or recruitment administration
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally and discreetly
• Experience with HRIS and scheduling systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Rippling and/or When I Work is a plus
