About the position

The Human Resource Coordinator/Generalist will manage daily functions of the HR department, focusing on hiring, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, employee relations, and policy enforcement. This role is crucial in enhancing the employee experience at Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT).

Responsibilities

  • Administer and execute human resource programs including onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, and leave.
  • Provide performance management guidance to management, including coaching and counseling.
  • Ensure successful onboarding of new hires by coordinating with the HR Assistant.
  • Utilize HR software for managing employee records and performance tracking.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and regulations across the organization.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop effective organizational solutions and policies.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Consult with leadership to assess training needs and implement training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • PHR, SPHR, or CP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
