As an HR Administrator – UKG, you will serve as the primary technical and HR systems liaison between our GameStop HR teams and U.S. store locations. You will play a central role in supporting field leaders as the organization transitions from Workday to UKG, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and assistance with HR workflows such as job postings, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, and employment verifications. Your mission is to ensure store teams receive timely, accurate, and friendly support while navigating HR systems and processes. You will be part of a high-performing team dedicated to delivering excellent employee experiences and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with the field. This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot HR systems and guide users remotely.
  • Workday experience encouraged; familiarity with HRIS or timekeeping systems required.
  • Ability to exercise strong judgment and operate independently within established HR policies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Strong conflict management and resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing a high-volume workload and multiple priorities.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work additional hours during busy seasons or major initiatives.
  • Consistent adherence to organizational policies related to attendance, ethics, and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting HR systems specifically for retail or distributed workforces.
  • Experience with UKG (UltiPro), Kronos, or other workforce management tools.
  • Familiarity with case management systems such as Jira.
  • Experience supporting technical transitions or large-scale system implementations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose solutions proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main HR systems contact for store leaders during the Workday-to-UKG transition.
  • Support associates via phone and email with questions regarding Workday, UKG, Kronos, payroll, W2s, job postings, onboarding/offboarding, and HR workflow troubleshooting.
  • Guide users step-by-step through technical processes and system navigation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security in all HR system interactions.
  • Escalate complex or specialized issues to HR leadership following established guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure consistent coverage and high-quality service.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with store teams and internal partners across the organization.
  • Utilize tools such as Workday, UKG, and Jira for case management and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned, especially during peak periods.
