The Housing Maintenance Supervisor at the City of Chandler is responsible for overseeing maintenance staff and ensuring the effective preventative maintenance and repair of public housing units. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and collaboration within a diverse and inclusive environment. The position is full-time, requiring a commitment to maintaining high standards in housing management and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Participate in semi-skilled to skilled preventative maintenance and repair of public housing units.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in maintenance operations.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of experience in building and facilities management.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Equivalent combination of experience and training providing necessary knowledge and abilities.

Nice-to-haves
