About the position

The Housekeeping Houseman at Quirk Hotel Richmond is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas while assisting the housekeeping team with various tasks. This role is essential in ensuring that hotel corridors, lobbies, and other public spaces are clean, well-stocked, and presentable, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the appearance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and meeting rooms.
• Respond to and fulfill guest requests for additional amenities or supplies in a timely manner.
• Assist housekeeping staff with room cleaning and preparation as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or repairs needed in public areas to the maintenance department.
• Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies in public areas.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping or maintenance role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle physical tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
