About The Position

Saratoga Casino Hotel is seeking a Houseperson to join their team. The Houseperson will promote outstanding relations with guests and fellow Team Members by providing service in a friendly, swift, and responsible manner. They will thrive in a team-based environment where everyone consistently uplifts and supports each other through detail-oriented work and regularly doing what it takes to ensure all necessary work is completed.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying and climbing stairs.
Ability to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Make sure trash and dirty linens are off the guest floors.
Maintain cleanliness of guest hallways, elevators, and vending rooms.
Effectively communicate with Front Desk and Housekeeping.
Replenish all housekeeping closet supplies.
Mix any necessary chemicals for cleaning.
Make sure chemicals are stored neatly and safely.
Report to manager when chemicals/items needed for cleaning need to be reordered.
Report any issues immediately to the Hotel Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Operations Manager.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate with other departments to promote guest satisfaction.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
