Responsibilities

  • Provide an effective and efficient working environment for the Hotel's Guest Room Attendants.
  • Ensure hotel guest rooms are clean and ready in a timely manner for incoming guests.
  • Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Cactus Petes housekeeping manual.
  • Maintain GRA carts throughout the day with clean sheets, water, rags, and other necessary materials.
  • Organize and clean all closets, ensuring they are neat and tidy, with boxes broken down and removed daily.
  • Report any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
  • Follow established protocols when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
  • Maintain linen and guest supplies in the linen storage areas.
  • Clean hotel public areas as required.
  • Replenish linen and guest supplies in housekeeping closets.
  • Collect used linen from housekeeping carts and transport to the closet.
  • Report damage, improvement, or repair issues in guest rooms or hotel areas to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
  • Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to follow established protocols and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards.
