About the position
CSP, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual for a Housekeeping-Janitorial position at the Christian County Rest Area. This role involves cleaning and maintaining the rest area, providing both indoor and outdoor work opportunities. The position is laid-back, allowing employees to work at their own pace while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for visitors. Both part-time and full-time options are available, with a pay rate of $12.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the rest area grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, vending areas, parking areas, and ramps.
- Sweep and mop floors, wash windows and glass doors, and clean commodes, urinals, sinks, and mirrors.
- Stock toilet paper and soap, keep sidewalks and parking lots free of litter and debris, and empty trash containers.
Requirements
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety precautions.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and others in a professional and courteous manner.
- Physical ability to stand and walk on concrete and similar hard surfaces for extended periods.
- Capability to walk on uneven ground such as lawns, fields, and gravel.
- Ability to perform two-handed work, including opening and closing doors, pushing and pulling equipment, and bending or crouching as needed.
