About The Position

Saint Luke’s Hedrick Medical Center is seeking a Housekeeping Associate responsible for the cleanliness of the facility and operating floor machines. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, this role is instrumental in fighting hospital infection and ensuring patient care. The associate will interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day, ensuring Saint Luke’s is “The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care.”

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Excited about working with people.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to work.

• Able to work without guidance.

• Not afraid to ask questions.
• Can be on your feet all day.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash.
• Wiping surfaces.
• Performing other tasks related to cleaning.
• Responsible for own trash/linen/bio removal.
• Operating floor machines.
