About The Position

Spruce Lake Ministries is a Christian organization located in the Pocono Mountains that provides lodging, meeting spaces, and meals for various groups. They also host summer camps, programmatic retreats, and outdoor education programs. The EVS Housekeeping Assistant Manager (EVS-HAM) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, buildings, and lodges by supervising housekeepers and conducting quality inspections.

• Be responsible, industrious, hospitable, and enthusiastic.
• 2 plus years of professional housekeeping experience.
• 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills including email, basic word processing and spreadsheets.
• Available to work early mornings, evenings, rotating weekends, and holidays.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and organized.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical ability and stamina to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift up to 35 lbs., perform repetitive motions with arms, wrists, shoulders and to bend, kneel and stretch.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring guest rooms, buildings, and lodges are tidy, clean, and well-maintained.
• Supervising housekeepers.
• Conducting quality inspections of guest rooms, buildings, and lodges.
