About the position
The Housekeeper position at Margaritaville Beach Resort in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, is an exciting opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in providing exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves working in a vibrant environment, contributing to the overall guest experience by ensuring rooms are sparkling clean and well-maintained. The position is physically demanding but offers personal and professional growth within a supportive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Load and organize the housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies and amenities.
- Clean and service assigned rooms to established standards in a timely manner.
- Vacuum floors and change sheets to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond to their requests promptly and courteously.
- Report any damage or mechanical issues in the resort and guest rooms to maintenance or management.
- Follow proper safety practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow proper lost and found procedures to document and return any lost items to guests.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by management to support the overall operation and cleanliness of the resort.
Requirements
- Candidates must be permitted to work in the USA with supporting documentation.
- Ability to communicate with guests providing friendly guest services with a smile.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight (maximum of 50 lbs.).
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in housekeeping is a plus.
