About the position

The Housekeeper position at Shriners Children's involves maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the hospital and patient housing. The position requires working evening shifts from Monday to Friday, focusing on thorough cleaning practices to promote a healing atmosphere for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the hospital and/or patient housing thoroughly and professionally.
• Sweep, damp mop, and wax floors as needed.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies.
• Dust furniture and wash walls, ceilings, air vents, woodwork, blinds, windows, door panels, and baseboards.
• Disinfect horizontal and vertical surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas according to departmental policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
