About the position
The Housekeeper at WorldMark Solvang Resort plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality standards of the resort. This part-time position involves cleaning various areas of the resort, including guest units, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for replenishing supplies and addressing guest inquiries to enhance overall satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean resort units including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
- Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards.
- Vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
- Make beds and replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries.
- Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
- Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest issues to resolution to improve the guest experience.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
