About the position

The House Manager + Occasional Nanny position is designed for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist a busy family of five with household management and childcare. The role involves a variety of tasks aimed at keeping the home organized and running smoothly, while also providing occasional babysitting services for the children.

Responsibilities

  • Household Management: Errands, Grocery Shopping, Light Cleaning, Organization, Costco orders, Restocking home supplies.
  • Light housekeeping: Tidying up and coordinating with cleaners.
  • Laundry: running, folding, putting away.
  • Transportation: occasional for kids after school activities, for family to airport for travel.
  • Car maintenance: routine washes, oil changes, regular scheduling & tracking of service appointments.
  • Travel planning: research, booking, packing, etc.
  • Party & Event planning: Shopping, rental equipment, contacting support staff, and being the main point of contact for events.
  • Nanny / Babysitting during afternoon hours and for regular date nights and overnights with kids.

Requirements

  • Experience in household management and childcare.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Patience and calm demeanor.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with event planning and coordination.
  • Familiarity with car maintenance and scheduling services.
