About the position

The responsibility of the Project Manager is to provide and maintain overall direction of each project in a proactive and professional manner to include the list of duties below. Coordinate and properly communicate internally with estimators, superintendents, administrative assistants, accounting personnel and management to ensure all aspects of the project are being met. Coordinate and properly communicate externally with customers, consultants, and general contractors to assure all expectations are being met and to uphold our value of being the Choice.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and directs the completion of specific projects while ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Acknowledges the project management life cycle of initiation, planning, execution, and closure to ensure the project is properly executed from beginning to the end.
  • Procures equipment and subcontractors.
  • Performs regular jobsite visits.
  • Maintains and monitors job progress reports and jobsite records including daily reports.
  • Controls and reports job costs.
  • Resolves technical or contractual issues.
  • Assure the customer's expectations are being met.
  • Be flexible and keep an open mind to change.
  • Estimating and running jobs and making the job profits required by Houck.

Requirements
