The Hotel Maintenance position at Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas Central involves performing essential maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel operates smoothly and meets guest expectations. Responsibilities

• Work closely with the front desk and housekeeping supervisors to assist with concerns or needed repairs.
• Check daily maintenance log for rooms out of order or in need of repair and take necessary action.
• Review the front desk pass-through log for maintenance-related items that need to be fixed.
• Check all equipment for guest use, including ice machines, ensuring proper functionality.
• Walk the property twice daily to check for burned-out lights, trash, and other maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with the maintenance manager and housekeeping supervisor for additional concerns or repairs.
• Inspect the parking lot for trash and review landscaping.
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks for the day.
• Perform additional tasks such as painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, and minor furniture repair.
• Assist housekeeping with deep cleaning of rooms and stock housekeeping storage rooms.
• Maintain and organize the pool area daily.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience or similar.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Strong communication skills to speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Ability to comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
