About the position

The Front Desk/Night Auditor position at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham involves assisting guests with their requests during the night shift while ensuring smooth front desk and accounting operations. The role requires balancing accounts from the day shift and providing excellent customer service to guests.

Responsibilities

  • Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
  • Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
  • Process invoices
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
  • Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
  • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Help prepare for forecasts and audits

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work overnight
