About the position

Westgate Resorts is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations at our properties. This role is crucial in ensuring that the highest quality standards are met for food, service, cleanliness, and marketing of all operations. The manager will be responsible for directing the daily operations of all food outlets, communicating effectively with staff and chefs, and ensuring that service levels are maintained. The position requires a strong focus on analyzing accounting information, managing staffing levels, and developing menus for special events. The ideal candidate will have a culinary background and extensive management experience in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of all food outlets on property.
  • Communicate effectively to provide clear direction to staff and chefs.
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and performance of employees.
  • Analyze outlet accounting information, cost, and revenue reports to maximize profits.
  • Observe food outlet operations and ensure standards of product presentation and service are maintained.
  • Work with staff to improve performance and development.
  • Develop menus for special events across the hotel.
  • Create and cost out recipe cards.
  • Implement new menus with room chefs and work closely with all Culinary chefs.

Requirements

  • 10 years of management experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Culinary degree or similar experience.
