The Hostess at Ocean Grill The Setai plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a luxury dining environment. This position requires a polished individual who can manage guest interactions, maintain waitlists, and ensure a seamless dining experience in a high-pressure setting. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Manage waitlists during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Assist in seating guests and ensuring a smooth flow of service.
- Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to maintain relationships.
- Handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize reservation systems, preferably OpenTable, to manage bookings.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Exceptional command of the English language; additional languages preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to establish effective working relationships.
- Flexibility in work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of reservation systems, particularly OpenTable.
