About the position

The Restaurant Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact for guests at the restaurant, managing their accommodation and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and familiarity with restaurant best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using OpenTable.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for guests.
• Provide information about the menu and restaurant services to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
• Knowledge of food service and hospitality standards.
