About the position
The Host position at The Cheesecake Factory is a customer-facing role responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Hosts greet guests upon arrival, manage seating arrangements, and provide information about the menu while ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests at the door and provide a warm welcome.
- Determine seating preferences and guide guests to their tables.
- Quote accurate wait times when necessary and encourage guests to browse the menu.
- Answer any questions guests may have about the menu or restaurant.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and twisting.
- Strong communication skills to create a hospitable environment.
- Ability to manage guest seating and wait times efficiently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
