About the position
The Host/Hostess at Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining is responsible for welcoming, greeting, and seating guests in a professional manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role is integral to maintaining the restaurant's hospitality standards and requires excellent communication and organizational skills. The position offers opportunities for personal culinary development and is part of a dynamic culinary team in Las Vegas.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests by greeting them according to Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group standards.
- Escort and seat guests to their table or reserved table.
- Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests.
- Handle and process telephone and in-person reservations using the Open Table system.
- Maintain cleanliness of hostess stations and menus.
- Stay knowledgeable about the menu, including daily specials and restaurant activities.
- Provide accurate information regarding the restaurant and its operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Host/Hostess in fine dining food and beverage industry.
- Minimum 1 year Open Table experience.
- Working knowledge of computer applications and systems.
- Excellent guest service and hospitality skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
- Ability to be flexible and perform multiple tasks effectively.
- Open availability; must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
