About the position

The Host position at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort involves greeting and escorting guests to their tables while adhering to established guest service and sustainability standards. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to restaurant tables according to service standards.
• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offering a choice of seating and presenting the menu.
• Maintain proper set-up of the dining room.
• Assist with service as needed or requested.
• Receive records and make arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Read, maintain, and make daily entries in the log book for communication between shifts and management.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
