Responsibilities

• Serve patient meals and assist with setup and preparation of snacks according to procedures.
• Return to patient rooms to pick up dirty trays and confirm patient satisfaction.
• Utilize basic diet therapy training to assist patients in selecting correct menu items.
• Maintain food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards.
• Ensure a clean and orderly work area, complying with health department and facility requirements.
• Monitor and deliver floor stock to designated units, checking for expired products.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and resolve complaints or concerns.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience in a food service position or applicable customer service experience required.
• 1 year of food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• FHC - Food Handlers Certificate required within 30 days.
