About The Position

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for Temporary Full Time Host/ess - La Hiki who have a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha. The Host/ess - La Hiki reports to the La Hiki General Manager and is responsible greeting the guest, seating, bidding farewell, answering telephone and taking reservations, and coordinating end of shift reservation data. We are looking for multiple Hosts. Inspired by the Hawaiian mai ka la hiki a ka la kau – “sunrise to sunset” – La Hiki is a modern update on the exotic pan-Asian restaurants of yesteryear. Here, traditional favourites and dishes inspired by local ingredients are presented for breakfast, and the breakfast and dinner menus take guests on a tour through the best of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines. Interactive stations bring guests and chefs together, and small plates encourage a communal dining experience and the opportunity to try something new. We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems including Opera and Open Table, and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Thorough knowledge of customer service, preferably with a food & beverage background.
Candidates must have up to one-year previous employment in a related position.
Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
