About the position
We are seeking a Nursing Supervisor with hospice experience to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves direct supervision, performance evaluation, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to the clinicians
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinicians and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the state of Nevada
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proven experience in hospice care
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in working with people with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office
