About the position
Community Nursing Services is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes within the Tooele County area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care in home health and hospice settings, ensuring that patients receive compassionate and effective treatment. The RN will work Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities as needed, and will be supported by a caring and dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Administer IV therapy and perform blood draws.
- Monitor and administer oxygen and medications.
- Manage blood sugar levels and care for catheters and nasogastric tubes.
- Perform wound care and educate patients and their families.
- Report changes in patient conditions to the physician.
Requirements
- Valid RN License in Utah.
- BLS Certification.
- Strong desire to care for elderly patients.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and conciseness.
Nice-to-haves
- Mid-level ICU experience.
- Experience in hospice and palliative medicine.
