About the position

As a Lead Technician, you will oversee and perform commercial kitchen exhaust system cleanings while managing and mentoring a team of technicians. This leadership role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with industry experience to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform kitchen exhaust hood cleaning to company and industry standards.
• Lead and train technicians to ensure efficient and effective job completion.
• Inspect completed work for quality control and adherence to company guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Complete job reports, including before-and-after photos and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Mentor and provide feedback to team members to promote growth and development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in commercial kitchen hood cleaning or a similar field.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Ability to work nights (Sunday-Thursday) and travel as required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
