About the position

This position will cover the Detroit/Flint region, and outlying areas. The Home Infusion Registered Nurse will work 30 hours a week, primarily on weekdays during the day shift, with the possibility of on-call duties and holiday rotations. The role requires strong IV skills, including pediatric IVs, as the nurse will be responsible for administering intravenous medications to patients in their homes. Accredo, the specialty pharmacy division of Evernorth Health Services, has been delivering dedicated, first-class care and services for patients for over 30 years. The role emphasizes the importance of building meaningful relationships with patients, allowing nurses to provide personalized care without the pressure of a rushed environment. As a Home Infusion Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives by focusing on their overall well-being and collaborating with pharmacists and Therapeutic Resource Centers (TRC) to meet their needs. You will take full ownership of the patient experience, traveling to their homes to administer IV infusion medications autonomously, while also providing response management and follow-up care. This position allows for independent decision-making and execution of care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients. You will document all interactions and communications with patients, including assessments, treatments, responses, and disease progression, which is crucial for maintaining high standards of care. The role also challenges you to continuously improve as a nurse, utilizing your commitment, confidence, positive attitude, and adaptability to handle difficult situations with the support of your leader and team.
