About the position
Inland Home Health Providers is seeking licensed vocational nurses (LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in the Greater Inland Empire Area. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, allowing nurses to choose their own hours while prioritizing patient needs. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Perform ostomy care, tracheostomy/ventilator care, and wound care management.
- Administer enteral nutrition and IV therapy as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and health status.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in California.
- At least one year of working experience as an LVN, preferably in home health or hospice.
- Up-to-date CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured automobile.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate internet-based software programs/EMR.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with home health or hospice care.
- Knowledge of wound-vac management and enteral nutrition.
