About the position
Med1Care, a highly rated home health agency, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide care for clients in their homes. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing aides to choose their hours and work either part-time or full-time. The agency is committed to delivering excellent care and creating a rewarding work environment for its staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes.
- Support clients with daily living activities to ensure their safety and independence.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs and progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) license or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Valid Ohio Drivers License and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in home health care or a similar field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
